Saturday 26th September - walk **** – Sumrise prom and Hemley – sunny and warm.

Walk 1 – Felixstowe sunrise prom.

Joined Mag on her sunrise walk along Felixstowe prom and made it to the round seat just past The Fludyers, the sunrise was nothing special just a bit of red but still nice to be out early! Breakfast and exercises inn the garden before I packed the picnic lunch!

Walk 2 – Hemley circuit.

We were a little on the drag to leave Felixstowe as we headed to park at Hemley Church for a nice quiet lunch before setting off on a walk down to the River Deben and soon spotted a red kite. We sat on the upturned boat watching the action on the river, dinghy racing up at Waldringfield with a few yachts out in the light breeze and some avocets to:) We continued to Kirton Creek and saw a curlew before taking the inland path back to the van!
